The strand dies of the TK-D series are downstream equipment from screen changers and extruders.

A rheologically optimized flow channel leads the incomming and homogeneous polymer into the strand die. Precision die bores divide the melt flow into melt strands. Cooling the strands takes place in a strand cooling trough.
