TAV Diverter Valve

For diverting the melt
 
TAV Diverter Valves are based on the design of TSD Screen Changers.
 
However, the hydraulically movable bolt has a flow-through boring and a diverter boring.
  
How a TAV Diverter valve works
 
On start-up of the extrusion plant, the melt is guided to the diverter boring. Thus the extruder can be started without the melt reaching the downstream equipment. A simplification of the production process to start up.

As soon as the product has reached the required quality or the extruder the required capacity, the bolt is moved into the production position, which lets the melt right through to the downstream equipment.

The bolt can be moved manually into a position, which makes the flow-through boring accessible from the outside for cleaning purposes.
